What ED treatment costs in Busan, from pills to implants.
Erectile dysfunction has a price ladder, not a price. At our Busan Seomyeon clinic it starts with a ₩400,000 first visit that includes a response test, runs through shockwave sessions at ₩400,000–₩1,200,000, and ends — for the minority who need it — at penile implants from ₩8,200,000. This guide lays out every rung with the published figure, and explains who stops where.

Erectile Dysfunction Treatment in Busan
The hub page behind this guide — medication, shockwave and implants, how the urologist decides between them, and the same published prices.
Read the ED hub →- What exactly does the ₩400,000 first visit include?
- Do I pay ₩400,000 every time, or only once?
- How many shockwave sessions do I really need, and what is the total?
- Will I be pushed toward an implant?
- Can I get all of this done on one trip to Busan?
Each is answered below, with the figures from our price list rather than estimates.
What does the ED first visit cost in Busan?
The first erectile dysfunction visit at Urogyn Men's Clinic in Busan Seomyeon is ₩400,000. The listed fee includes the consultation with a board-certified urologist, a prescription, a pen device and drug for injection therapy where appropriate, and one in-clinic response test; a separate erectile function test is extra. A follow-up visit for re-prescription only is listed from ₩50,000. All figures are published self-pay fees, the same for every patient.
That first visit is where the ladder is built. Most men leave it with a prescription and a clear view of whether medication alone is likely to work — and for most, it is. The ED hub explains the clinical reasoning; this page follows the money from that first ₩400,000 upward.
Consultation, prescription, pen and drug, and one response test included. Function test extra.
For men who return only to renew an enhancer prescription.
Doppler assessment of penile blood flow when the cause needs to be seen, not guessed.
One hormone, or the full panel at ₩500,000. Added when symptoms suggest a hormonal cause.
Which tests might be added, and what do they cost?
The urologist orders tests to answer a specific question, not as a routine bundle. The two that most often follow an ED consultation are the vascular ultrasound at ₩200,000 — the erectile function test that shows whether arterial inflow or venous leak is the problem — and the hormone panel at ₩150,000 for a single hormone, or ₩500,000 for the full panel, when fatigue, low libido or age make testosterone a suspect. A comprehensive blood test is ₩200,000 on its own, or ₩100,000 when run alongside other tests. Nothing is ordered without telling you the figure first.
What do ED medication and follow-up visits cost?
The first visit fee covers the prescription and, where injection therapy is chosen, the pen device and drug plus one supervised response test. Oral PDE5 tablets and Trimix injection are both prescribed from this visit — the ED medication page covers who suits which. After that, a return visit purely to renew the enhancer prescription is listed from ₩50,000, and international patients who respond well often manage renewals by message rather than a flight.
What is not on the list is a per-pill price. Medication itself is dispensed through pharmacies at their published rates, and the urologist will tell you the expected monthly cost for your dose before you leave — in writing if you ask.

ED Shockwave Therapy in Busan
Low-intensity Li-ESWT with Carewave and Beluga — who responds, who does not, and why the urologist tests before recommending a course.
Read the shockwave page →What does shockwave therapy cost per session in Busan?
Low-intensity shockwave therapy — Carewave, Beluga and similar devices — is listed at ₩400,000 to ₩1,200,000 per session, with a course of ten or more sessions recommended. The range reflects device and protocol; the urologist sets the per-session figure for your plan before the first session, and a full course is therefore a known total rather than an open-ended one. The shockwave page explains which men respond — typically those with mild-to-moderate vascular ED — and which do not.
Carewave, Beluga and similar devices. Figure fixed for your plan before session one.
Spaced over weeks. International patients usually combine a course with a longer stay or split it across two visits.
Because a course is a real commitment, our urologists are direct about the alternative: if a ₩400,000 first visit and a prescription give you a reliable erection, that is the cheaper answer and you will be told so. Shockwave is for men who want to reduce dependence on medication or who respond poorly to it — not a default upgrade.
When is testosterone the real cost?
For some men the erection problem is a testosterone problem, and the budget shifts from ED items to hormone items. After a ₩150,000 hormone test confirms it, testosterone replacement at our Busan clinic is listed as Nebido at ₩500,000 per dose(a long-acting injection) or Jenasteron at ₩100,000 per dose(shorter-acting). Arginine supplementation is ₩150,000. The men's health page covers monitoring and the interval between doses; the point here is that hormone therapy is a recurring cost, and the urologist will show you the annual figure, not just the per-dose one.
What does a penile implant cost in Busan?
Implants are the top of the ladder and the answer for a minority: men with severe vascular ED, diabetic ED, or ED after prostate surgery who do not respond to medication or injection. Two devices are listed. The malleable implant — a bendable semi-rigid rod — is from ₩8,200,000. The inflatable implant — a three-piece device with a pump — is from ₩15,000,000. The “from” reflects device model and any additional procedure needed at surgery, and is confirmed in writing at consultation.
Semi-rigid rod. Simpler mechanics, lower cost, always firm.
Three-piece device with pump and reservoir. More natural flaccid state; requires hand dexterity.
How does ED treatment in Busan compare abroad?
A private ED consultation with a urologist in the United States, United Kingdom or Australia is commonly billed as a specialist visit, with imaging and blood work invoiced separately; shockwave courses are marketed by device clinics at per-session prices that, over ten sessions, frequently reach into the several-thousand range in local currency; and penile implants abroad are hospital procedures whose total, including surgeon, anaesthetist and facility, typically lands well into five figures in US dollars or pounds. Against those, a ₩400,000 first visit that includes a response test, shockwave from ₩400,000 per session and implants from ₩8,200,000 are at or below the usual private range at every rung.
The comparison that matters is continuity: at Urogyn the same English-speaking urologist handles the consultation, the test, the prescription and — if it comes to it — the surgery, and answers your messages afterwards. Fragmented care abroad is where ED costs multiply.
How should I budget an ED trip to Busan?
One visit. Often the only cost for men who respond to medication.
A consult and prescription fit a day trip. Implant surgery: plan several nights — see the visit guide.
Gimhae Airport to Seomyeon by light rail and one subway change, or a short taxi. One minute from Exit 7 — map.
Response, dose questions and renewals handled over WhatsApp with the same urologist.
Many international patients combine the first visit with other items on the same list — a discreet STD panel or a prostate check — because the trip is already made. The urologist will tell you which combinations make sense on one day and which do not.
How it runs at our Busan Seomyeon clinic — and your next step
Message us with your travel dates, a short description of the problem, any medication you already take, and whether you have tried tablets before. You will receive a reply in English confirming the ₩400,000 first visit, what it includes, and any test the urologist expects to add — with its price. On the day, the same doctor consults, tests and prescribes, and answers your follow-up messages afterwards. For the clinical detail behind every rung, start with the ED hub; for every figure on this page, the full price list.
- Is the response test done with tablets or injection? The listed first visit includes a pen and drug for injection therapy and one response test; whether that test uses injection or oral medication is a clinical decision made with you on the day, based on your history and what you are comfortable with.
- Can I be treated for ED and low testosterone on the same visit? Yes — the hormone test is added at ₩150,000 and, if it confirms low testosterone, the first dose can usually be given on the same day once the urologist has reviewed the result.
The urologists who perform your vasectomy.
Every guide on this site is written and reviewed by the three board-certified urologists below. The doctor who consults with you is the doctor who operates and answers your follow-up — never a junior doctor or a different surgeon.
