How do men from Japan reach a men's clinic in Busan?
Fukuoka to Busan is about three to four hours by high-speed ferry into Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, or about an hour by air into Gimhae; Osaka is about ninety minutes by air; Tokyo about two and a half hours. From the ferry terminal, Busan Station and Line 1 reach Seomyeon in about twenty minutes; from Gimhae, the light rail and Line 2 in about forty. Routes: Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo to Seomyeon
By air, every route lands at Gimhae, and the airport route guide covers the last leg — light rail to Sasang, Line 2 to Seomyeon, about forty minutes, or a taxi in thirty. By sea, the Fukuoka ferry lands at the international passenger terminal beside Busan's old port, a short taxi or a fifteen-minute walk from Busan Station; from there Line 1 reaches Seomyeon in six stops, about fifteen minutes. Both arrivals put you at Seomyeon Station Exit 7, one minute from the clinic, well within an hour of clearing immigration. The contact page has the map and a Korean address to show a taxi driver.
The ferry: terminal to Seomyeon
- 1 Arrive at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal. Immigration and customs on site. Taxis wait outside; Busan Station is a short ride or a fifteen-minute walk along the harbour.
- 2 Busan Station — Line 1 toward Nopo. Six stops to Seomyeon, about fifteen minutes. Announcements in English and Japanese on the main lines.
- 3 Seomyeon Station — Exit 7. One minute on foot to the Ion City Building, seventh floor. Name at the desk; nothing else needs saying if you have booked by message.
The ferry suits men who dislike airports, who are travelling with a partner, or who want to combine the visit with a weekend in Busan; the flight suits a day trip. Many patients from Fukuoka take the morning ferry, are seen in the afternoon, stay one night in Seomyeon, and return on the next day's sailing.

Three reasons our patients from Japan give, in order. First, price: men's urology in Japan is almost entirely private, and the procedures Japanese men most often seek abroad — enlargement, circumcision, ED treatment, PE treatment — are commonly quoted at considerably more in Japanese private clinics than the published KRW figures at Urogyn, with the gap often larger than the cost of the trip. Second, transparency: a Korean clinic with a published list quotes the price in the reply to your message, before you travel, which is not the norm in Japanese men's clinics. Third, privacy: a man from Fukuoka is unknown in Busan, and the privacy guide explains how the visit is kept his own. None of this is a criticism of Japanese urologists, who are excellent; it is a description of why men cross the strait.
Language: English, Japanese, and the Japanese site
At the clinic, the urologist consults in English — Dr. Moon Hyeon-chang and his colleagues speak to you directly, without an interpreter, as the English-speaking urologist page explains. What Japanese patients most often come for
- Girth enhancement — filler from ₩1,700,000, fat graft ₩3,500,000, dermal graft from ₩3,900,000. The most requested procedure from Japan, usually as a two-night trip.
- Adult circumcision — laser, from ₩800,000. Often combined with a foreskin or phimosis concern; two nights.
- Lengthening — from ₩2,500,000, or the ₩7,000,000 three-procedure package with girth. Three to five nights.
- ED treatment — the ₩400,000 first visit with response test, shockwave courses, implants. A consultation fits a day trip.
- PE treatment — sensitivity test ₩200,000, triple nerve block ₩1,500,000. Test on one visit; procedure with a night.
- STD testing — 13-panel ₩250,000, results by message after the ferry home.
Paying and receipts
Fees are settled in Korean won at the published figures; Japanese credit cards are accepted and the conversion is your card issuer's. An itemised receipt is issued on request in English — the records guide covers wording — and whether Japanese private insurance reimburses elective men's urology is a question for the insurer, which in most cases does not.
