Seoul Station to Busan Station is a little over two hours on the KTX, and Busan Station to our clinic is fifteen minutes on Line 1. That makes a same-day return realistic for a consultation, tests, an STD panel, an ED first visit or a vasectomy — and unrealistic for a few procedures that need a night. This guide gives the train timings that fit each, and says honestly which men should stay over.

Is a Seoul-to-Busan urology day trip realistic?
Yes, for most visits. The KTX from Seoul Station reaches Busan Station in about two hours and fifteen to forty minutes depending on the service; Busan Station to Seomyeon is six stops on Subway Line 1, about fifteen minutes; and Urogyn Men's Clinic is one minute on foot from Seomyeon Station Exit 7. A consultation, tests, an STD panel, an ED first visit at ₩400,000, girth filler and a no-scalpel vasectomy at ₩800,000 all fit a same-day return. Grafts, lengthening, implants, BPH procedures and circumcision are better with a night in Seomyeon.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–14:00, and a weekday day trip with a morning departure fits any of the same-day items comfortably. The same-day guide lists the conditions; this page is the train timetable around them.

Seoul Station to Busan Station
KTX trains leave Seoul Station for Busan throughout the day, with the fastest services making the run in a little over two hours and slower ones, with more stops, in up to about two hours forty. SRT trains from Suseo in the southeast of Seoul reach Busan on a similar schedule and suit men living in Gangnam or Songpa. Tickets can be booked in English on the Korail and SRT apps or websites, and seats are assigned; on Friday afternoons, weekends and holidays, book ahead. A morning departure between 7 and 8 puts you in Busan by around 10 to 10:30, in time for a late-morning slot after the subway ride.
Busan Station to Seomyeon
- 1 Follow the subway signs from the KTX platforms. Busan Station's Line 1 entrance is a short walk from the concourse, signed in English. Buy a single ticket or tap a T-money card.
- 2 Board Line 1 toward Nopo. Seomyeon is the sixth stop, about fifteen minutes. Announcements are in English.
- 3 Exit 7. Seomyeon is a large interchange with Line 2; follow the yellow exit numbers to Exit 7, then one minute on foot to the Ion City Building, seventh floor. The contact page map shows the direction from the exit.
A taxi from Busan Station is an alternative — about ten to fifteen minutes outside rush hour — and worth it after a procedure on the way back, which the return section covers.
Vasectomy in Busan
Fifteen to twenty minutes under local anaesthesia, ₩800,000, consulted and done on one visit — the procedure Seoul-based patients most often make the trip for.

- Consultation and tests. Any concern. Ultrasound and urine results during the visit; blood and laboratory results by message on the train home or the next day.
- STD 13-panel, ₩250,000. Sampled in under an hour; results by message. The commonest day-trip visit from Seoul.
- ED first visit, ₩400,000. Consultation, prescription, pen and drug where chosen, and a supervised response test — all in one visit.
- Girth filler, from ₩1,700,000. Same-day under local anaesthesia; a comfortable train home in the afternoon with a little swelling.
- No-scalpel vasectomy, ₩800,000. Fits, with a caveat: the clinic recommends a night rather than a train two hours after surgery, but men who book an afternoon procedure and an evening train do it without difficulty, sitting rather than walking. Supportive underwear on; no heavy bags.
- PE sensitivity test, ₩200,000, and a non-surgical plan. One visit. A nerve block is better with a night.
What needs a night in Seomyeon?
Laser circumcision — the first night is the uncomfortable one and a train seat is not where to spend it. Triple nerve block, for the same reason. Any surgical procedure — fat or dermal grafts, lengthening, implants — needs several nights, as the visit guide sets out. And BPH procedures are two visits — check-up, then procedure a day or two later — so a day trip covers the check-up and a second trip or a short stay covers the procedure. Seomyeon has hotels at every price within a five-minute walk of the clinic, and a night there is a small addition to a trip that has already been made.

KTX booked in advance. Breakfast on board; no fasting needed for any test on the list.

An hour for consultation and tests; a same-day procedure adds its own time — 15 to 20 minutes for vasectomy.
Sit somewhere quiet after a procedure. Results that are back arrive by message.

The return train after a procedure
Book the return with a margin — two to three hours after the appointment start — so that a procedure that runs long or a rest that is needed does not cost you a seat. After a vasectomy or filler, take a taxi to Busan Station rather than the subway stairs, sit for the journey, and keep supportive underwear on; the vasectomy recovery guide covers the first evening. After tests only, the subway is fine. If on the day the urologist advises a night — because of a finding, a longer procedure, or simply how you feel — the clinic can suggest a nearby hotel and the train is changed, not lost.
Why do men come from Seoul at all?
Seoul has excellent urologists, and many of our Seoul-based patients have seen one. They come to Busan for three specific things: a urologist who speaks English directly, without an interpreter or an international-clinic intermediary; a published price list that the reply to their message quotes from, so the trip has a known cost before it is booked; and the privacy of a specialist men's clinic in a city where they are not known.
