Visiting the Clinic · Seomyeon, Busan · Urogyn Men's Clinic

What a Busan urologist can genuinely do in one visit.

Same-day is a real promise for some procedures and a false one for others. This guide sorts the price list at our Busan Seomyeon clinic into three honest groups — consulted and treated on one visit, decided on visit one and done later in the same trip, and never same-day — with the conditions that apply to each, so a trip can be planned around what will actually happen.

Consultation and procedure on one visit is one of the four things the clinic is built around — with the conditions stated before you travel.

What readers ask before they message us
  1. Which procedures can really be done the day I arrive?
  2. What could stop a same-day procedure on the day?
  3. Can I combine two procedures in one visit?
  4. Do I need to arrive early in the day?
  5. Is same-day treatment rushed?

Each is answered below, from how the clinic actually schedules rather than from marketing.

What can a urologist do in one visit in Busan?

At Urogyn Men's Clinic in Busan Seomyeon, same-day treatment falls into three groups. Group one is consulted and done on one visit when the clinic knew in advance: no-scalpel vasectomy ₩800,000, laser circumcision from ₩800,000, girth filler from ₩1,700,000, triple nerve block ₩1,500,000, the ED first visit ₩400,000 with its response test, STD panels and most tests. Group two is decided on visit one and done on a later day of the same trip: BPH surgery, implants, grafts and lengthening. Group three is never same-day: anything needing results, stopped medication or a second confirmatory test first.

Everything on this page comes from the price list and from how the clinic schedules; the reply to your first message says which group your case falls into, and the booking guide explains what to send so that reply is accurate.

Group one: consulted and treated on one visit

No-scalpel vasectomy
₩800,000

15–20 minutes under local anaesthesia. Vasectomy page. Condition: no blood thinners.

Laser circumcision
from ₩800,000

Basic, volume-up or extension. Circumcision page. Condition: no active infection.

Girth filler
from ₩1,700,000

2–4cc same-day; larger volumes planned in the reply. Filler page.

Triple nerve block
₩1,500,000

After the ₩200,000 sensitivity test on the same visit. Nerve block page.

ED first visit + response test
₩400,000

Consultation, prescription, pen and drug, one supervised test. ED hub.

STD panel and tests
from ₩150,000

Samples taken on the visit; laboratory results by message. STD testing page.

What these have in common at our Busan Seomyeon clinic: a standardised procedure, local anaesthesia, no result that must come back first, and a recovery that does not need a hospital. When your message states the concern and the clinic replies that same-day is realistic, the visit is scheduled so that consultation, examination and procedure run in sequence — typically within an hour or two.

Group two: decided on visit one, done later in the same trip

Some procedures need a result before the urologist can plan them, and the result takes hours to days. BPH surgery — UroLift, Rezum, Progator from ₩10,000,000 — follows the ₩600,000 check-up, because prostate volume decides the procedure and urine results exclude infection. Penile implants follow the vascular ultrasound and a conversation that should not be rushed. Fat graft, dermal graft and lengthening surgery are planned on visit one and performed a day or two later, so that examination, consent and preparation are separated from the operation. For an international patient this means one trip with two visits, and the reply to your message states the days to plan.

  • 1 Visit one. Consultation, examination, tests. Decision and written price the same day.
  • 2 The gap. Usually one to three days — for results to return, for medication to be adjusted, or simply for you to decide without a clock.
  • 3 Visit two. The procedure. Same urologist, same room, plan already agreed.

Group three: never same-day

Three situations, and the urologist names them in the reply rather than on the day. First, anything that depends on a result not yet available — a testosterone injection before the confirmatory hormone test, a BPH procedure before volume is known. Second, anything blocked by medication that must be stopped in advance, most often blood thinners before a procedure; stopping them takes days and involves your prescribing doctor. Third, anything the examination reveals to be different from what was described — an infection, an unexpected finding, a concern that changes the plan. In all three, treatment moves to a later day or a later trip, and nothing is done that you did not come for.

A changed plan is not a failed visit. If the examination changes what should be done, you leave with a better plan and a written price for it, and the trip is re-sequenced by message. The clinic would rather move a procedure than perform the wrong one on schedule.

The conditions that apply to same-day treatment

  • The clinic knew in advance. Same-day works because the slot was planned for consultation plus procedure. A visit booked as a consultation only can usually be extended if there is time; it cannot be promised.
  • No blood thinners for any procedure, unless the urologist has agreed a plan with you beforehand. Aspirin counts.
  • No active infection at the site — for circumcision, filler, nerve block and vasectomy alike. Treated first, procedure later.
  • The examination matches the message. Photographs sent in advance make this far more likely for enlargement, foreskin and curvature concerns.
  • Your own decision on the day. Same-day means the option is available, not that it is assumed. The first visit guide describes the pause between plan and procedure.

Same-hour tests at our Busan clinic

Tests are the easiest same-day items in Busan and often the reason for a visit in themselves. Urine test ₩200,000, PSA ₩150,000, ultrasound ₩200,000 per area, vascular ultrasound ₩200,000, testosterone and hormone panel ₩150,000, semen analysis ₩150,000, the STD 13-panel ₩250,000, HIV and syphilis ₩150,000 each, HPV subtype ₩250,000, and the ₩600,000 full prostate check-up are all sampled on the visit. Ultrasound and urine results are available during the visit; laboratory results follow by message, explained by the same urologist. The what to bring guide lists which results from home save a repeat.

Follow-up
By message

The urologist who treated you answers. No return visit for routine healing.

Morning slots at our Busan clinic suit same-day procedures best, because they leave the afternoon for rest and the evening for the written summary. Weekday mornings are the most available; Saturday runs 10:00–14:00 and is booked ahead by message. The international patients guide covers hotels within walking distance and how a trip is sequenced around each group.

When is same-day the wrong choice?

When it is chosen for the calendar rather than the case. A man who is unsure about an irreversible procedure — a nerve block, a lengthening operation — is better served by a consultation visit, a written plan, and a decision made at home. A man with a complicated history is better served by sending it in advance so the reply can say honestly that two visits are needed. And a man who wants to combine several procedures should expect the urologist to say which combinations are sensible on one day and which are not; vasectomy with an STD panel is routine, two surgical procedures on one visit usually is not. Same-day is a convenience the clinic offers; it is not a standard the visit is bent to meet.

How it runs at our Busan Seomyeon clinic — and your next step

Message us from the contact page with your dates, the procedure or concern, your medication list and — if the concern is one they help — photographs. You will receive a reply in English saying which group your case falls into, the published price, the conditions that apply, and a time. On the day, the same urologist consults, examines and, if everything matches, proceeds; if it does not, you leave with a better plan in writing. For every figure on this page, the full price list; for the visit itself, the first visit guide.

Two more questions we hear on the day
  1. Can I have a vasectomy and a circumcision on the same day? Sometimes, and the urologist will say whether it is sensible for you — both are local-anaesthetic procedures, but recovery is more comfortable when they are separated by a day or two. Ask in your message and the reply will state the plan.
  2. What if I arrive without booking? You will be seen if there is time, but same-day treatment cannot be planned for a visit the clinic did not know about. A message the day before — even the morning of — is what makes it possible.

Same-day urology treatment — FAQ

At Urogyn in Busan Seomyeon, no-scalpel vasectomy ₩800,000, laser circumcision from ₩800,000, girth filler from ₩1,700,000, triple nerve block ₩1,500,000, the ₩400,000 ED first visit with response test, and STD panels and tests are commonly consulted and done on one visit when the clinic knew in advance.
BPH surgery from ₩10,000,000 follows the ₩600,000 check-up; penile implants follow a vascular ultrasound; fat graft, dermal graft and lengthening surgery are planned on visit one and performed a day or two later. One trip, two visits, days stated in the reply.
Blood thinners not stopped in advance, an active infection at the site, a result not yet available, or an examination finding that changes the plan. In each case treatment moves to a later day and nothing is done that you did not come for.
A procedure with tests — a vasectomy with an STD panel — is routine. Two surgical procedures on one day usually is not, for comfort during recovery. State both in your message and the reply says what is sensible.
Morning slots suit same-day procedures best, leaving the afternoon for rest. Weekday mornings are most available; Saturday runs 10:00–14:00 and is booked ahead by message.
No. The consultation, examination and a pause for questions happen first; the procedure follows only if everything matches and you choose to proceed. Same-day means the option is available, not assumed.
Yes. At Urogyn the same doctor who consults with you performs any procedure and answers your follow-up messages. You are never passed to a junior doctor or a different surgeon at any stage.
