Why is the fee ₩800,000 and not less?

Some readers will find Korean clinics advertising a lower headline number, and it is worth being clear about what the ₩800,000 at our Busan clinic pays for. Urogyn uses a five-layer occlusion technique rather than a single tie: each vas is isolated and ligated in two to three layers, the cut ends are thermally sealed, and the fascial sheath is interposed so the two ends heal in separate compartments. Each layer is an independent barrier against recanalisation — the rare event in which the vas reconnects and fertility returns.

Pain control is handled in the same deliberate way: no-scalpel entry through a single puncture, an ultra-fine needle for the anaesthetic, a three-stage block from skin to deep tissue to vas, and tissue-sparing handling throughout.
